Moon Glow is located on a protected marine park teeming with sea life. Amazing snorkeling awaits you! Stroll the beautiful, white sand beach. Enjoy a refreshing swim, kayak, relax and simply enjoy the most amazing sun rises and moon glows!
Moon Glow exceeded our expectations. Communication with owner, agent, and property manager was excellent from beginning to end. The home itself was lovely and we really liked the bathroom remodels. Astounding 180 degree view of the beach and ocean from the living room, with near-similar landscape views from both bedrooms.This was our first visit to Grand Cayman and we quickly realized that Rum Point was the perfect choice: quiet, peaceful area away from all the commotion and hubbub of SMB area. Several restaurants and water excursions nearby, but our favorite restaurant (Tukka’s, be sure to ask for Tito!) was an easy 20 minute drive to East Bay. We were conditioned beforehand to think we might have to pay for a guided tour for a quality nature experience. However, the very first afternoon of snorkeling from the beach at Moon Glow, we saw the first of many sting rays. In the days that followed, we saw cuttlefish, sea turtles, a moray eel, and a nurse shark! Our group took a picnic lunch to nearby Starfish Point. And the bioluminescent bay is literally across the road from Moon Glow. At the suggestion from a friend (Thanks, Karen!) we did pay for the Cayman Kayaks BioBay tour with Captain Tom. It was definitely worth it to learn all about this unique natural-occurring event, plus we avoided any unpleasant encounters with this particular bay’s abundant jellyfish. We unreservedly recommend Moon Glow!
Our stay at Moon Glow near Rum Point in the Cayman Islands was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the crystal-clear ocean right from our private beach. The house itself was beautifully maintained, offering the perfect blend of luxury and island charm. Spacious, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable, it provided everything we needed for an unforgettable getaway. One of the highlights was the unbeatable location. Just a short stroll to Rum Point, we had easy access to amazing beach bars, delicious restaurants, and endless water activities. Whether it was snorkeling, sipping cocktails at the famous Rum Point Club, or simply relaxing on the white sandy beach, everything we wanted was right at our fingertips. For those looking to explore more of Grand Cayman, a quick and scenic ferry ride took us straight to the bustling heart of the island, where we enjoyed even more dining, shopping, and island adventures.If you’re looking for a dreamy island escape with stunning oceanfront views, a prime location near Rum Point, and effortless access to the best of Grand Cayman, this home is an absolute must-stay. We can’t wait to return!
Everything about Moon Glow exceeded our expectations. Spectacular water views from every room. Enjoyed coffee and wine daily on the patio, up early for sunrise and walks on the beach.Everything you could possibly want in the kitchen and its was all brand new! Grilled lobsters one night and steaks another. Comfy beds, great quality sheets and towels. Location was perfect for us. Easy walk to Rum Point where we spent our days on the beach. Minutes to Starfish Point and Kaibo. Easy access to lots of boat, snorkeling etc excursions for those who want them. Great meals and vibes at Kaibo and Rum Point. . Chisolms Grocery well stocked and close by. Appreciate how responsive and informative the Property Manager has been. First class experience all the way around. We will be back!!
